BIRTH CERTIFICATE

(1) Question: How to attest a birth certificate?
Answer:-
Personal presence of the birth certificate holder (if adult) or one of the parent incase of a minor, along with the following documents:
Valid passport in original and a photocopy (first / last and valid visa page) of the birth certificate holder or one of the parents incase of a minor.
The minor child's passport copy.
Original birth certificate and a photocopy attested by the following:
In case of the birth certificate issued from India
Notary public of the district where the child was born.
Home Department of the state/union territory where the child was born.
In case the birth certificate was issued by authorities in the UAE, the document have to be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, U.A.E
In case of birth certificate issued from any other countries, the same is to be attested by the Indian High Commission / Indian Embassy / Indian Consulate/ in that country.

EDUCATION / TRANSFER CERTIFICATE

Question: How to get an Educational/ Transfer certificate attested?

Answer:-
Personal presence of the certificate holder or either of the parents incase of a minor at the IVS Global Attestation Center with the following documents:
Education / Transfer Certificate issued from India
Valid passport in original of the certificate holder or one of the parent incase of a minor.
Passport photocopies (first / last and valid visa page) of the certificate holder and one of the parent.
Certificates originating from India issued by universities and other Institutions of higher studies have to be attested by:
Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Higher Education of the same State.
Consular Section, Ministry of External Affairs, Patiala House, New Delhi
UAE Consulate in Mumbai or UAE Embassy in New Delhi.
School certificate up to class XII (higher secondary level) issued by the educational institutions in India, in original and a photocopy, have to be attested by :
District education authorities of the concerned state / union territory (District Education Officer).
Education / Transfer Certificates from UAE need to be attested by UAE Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Education / Transfer Certificate issued from any other country needs to be attested by the Indian High Commission / Embassy / Consulate in that
country

The details of the Regional Authentication Centres (RACs) in the States/Union Territories from where the documents should first be authenticated are given below.

Embassy Legalisation

Legalising Indian documents for use in foreign counties is often a time consuming task. Many countries now request the apostille and additional embassy legalisation. This involves working with the embassies and consulates across India.


Document legalisation varies from one embassy to another which is why our attestation service is so popular. Each embassy or consulate has their own prescribed process of handling documents. Some documents do not require embassy legalisation and simply require the apostille certificate.
